Finn Balor and Kyle O'Reilly will go face to face next week but a WWE Hall of Famer will be there as well.
WWE announced that Shawn Michaels will host a meeting between the current NXT Champion and his challenger as both Balor and O'Reilly will face off for the NXT title at TakeOver 31, taking place on October 4.
Finn Bálor and Kyle O’Reilly will go face to face just four days before their NXT Title showdown, and they’ll be joined by a WWE Hall of Famer.
Shawn Michaels will host a face-to-face meeting between the NXT Champion and his next challenger Wednesday night ahead of their match on Sunday, Oct. 4, at NXT TakeOver 31.
O’Reilly earned the right to take on Bálor after a gutsy performance in the first-ever Gauntlet Eliminator Match, going wire-to-wire and eliminating three competitors en route to the biggest victory of his career.
It was previously announced that Burch and Oney Lorcan will face Undisputed Era next week where the winner of that match faces Breezango for the NXT Tag Team Champions at TakeOver. In addition, it was announced that Shotzi Blackheart will take on Dakota Kai on September 30 after the two were unsuccessful in winning a Battle Royale on tonight's episode NXT.
