Shawn Michaels remembers Sid.
The wrestling world sadly lost Sid Eudy (Sid, Sycho Sid, Sid Justice) on August 26th after his battle with cancer.
Sid had multiple runs with WCW and WWE during his time in wrestling, but the run that yielded gold was whe when he returned to WWE in 1995. Sid initially linked up with Shawn Michaels as his new bodyguard after Michaels split from Diesel (Kevin Nash). The two would eventually have their own split with Sid joining the Million Dollar Corporation.
At Survivor Series 1996, Sid won his first WWE Championship by defeating Michaels in the main event at Madison Square Garden. Michaels would win the title back at Royal Rumble 1997 in his home state of Texas.
Taking to social media, Michaels remembered the late Sid.

An unforgettable presence, and it can't be overstated how big of a role he played in creating "The Heartbreak Kid".
