In September 2024, it was announced that Sheamus has signed a new multi-year contract with WWE.
PWInsider reported that Sheamus' deal was for five years.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Sheamus confirmed he signed a five-year deal with the company.
"Not really," Sheamus said when asked if he had an end date in mind for his career. "I just signed a new five-year deal. I'll go until the wheels fall off. I'll do it until I can't physically do it anymore. I love what I do. There is plenty of time to sit back and read a book and watch TV. There is a lot of that."
Sheamus returned from a rib injury on the December 30th episode of WWE Raw.
