The band is back together.
After months of separation and feuding between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, it took the return of Roman Reigns, and Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin attempting to gang up on Reigns and Rollins for Ambrose to complete to the Shield reunion which set up a six-man tag team match at 'Fastlane'. Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley made their way to the ring while Reigns and Rollins were inside of it attempting to persuade Dean Ambrose to complete the Shield reunion. Ambrose decided to exit the ring and as that happened, Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley made their way to the ringside area and surrounded Rollins and Reigns.

Dean Ambrose did not standby and allow the opposition to beat down Rollins and Reigns and he ran back into the ring and re-joined his Shield brothers in the fight. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns then threw out the Shield fist and after some pacing back and forth, "The Lunatic Fringe" completed the equation. The match was soon made official that at 'Fastlane', the Shield are reuniting to face Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

"The Architect" Seth Rollins is set to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35 and one-third of The Shield, Dean Ambrose has chosen not to renew his contract with WWE which expires after WrestleMania 35.
