With WrestleMania being official for April 10 and 11 in Tampa, Independent companies have made plans to hold WrestleMania week events.
Game Changer Wrestling announced GCW Collective Remix for April 8-10 while Independent Wrestling TV announced Showcase of the Independents, also scheduled for April 8-10.
One company not planning on running in Tampa during WrestleMania week is SHIMMER, one of the top Independent promotions for female wrestlers.
With some groups beginning to announce their Mania weekend plans, we're getting a lot of questions. The answer is: We've decided it would be best to WAIT to run more live events until later in the year, when it's possible to return to our home base in the Chicago area.

SHIMMER has been mostly inactive during the pandemic. The promotion was part of GCW The Collective in October 2020 in Indiana, running an event on October 11.
Prior to running as part of GCW The Collective, SHIMMER had not held an event since November 2019.
