Shinsuke Nakamura is determined to win the world title.
Qualifying matches for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match began on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw. Shinsuke Nakamura qualified for the bout by defeating Bronson Reed. For Nakamura, the Money in the Bank match will be the opportunity to reach new heights. Though the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion has won the Royal Rumble match and held multiple titles, including the WWE Intercontinental Championship, he has never held a world championship in WWE.
In a WWE Raw Exclusive, Nakamura commented on qualifying for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and made it clear that he intends to become a world champion.
“WWE changed my life a lot. This opportunity, Money in the Bank Ladder Match, it will change my life again. This is the first step to the world championship. I came to WWE to be world champion. I’ve never forgotten that. I will be world champion anyhow, to use Money in the Bank briefcase," Nakamura said.
During the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, Ricochet also qualified for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match by defeating The Miz. Qualifying matches will continue on the June 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, as Montez Ford will take on LA Knight.
