Shinsuke Nakamura Turns Heel, Blindsides Seth Rollins On 8/7 WWE Raw

Shinsuke Nakamura is making moves.

On the August 7 episode of WWE Raw, Nakamura scored a hard-fought win over Bronson Reed. After the match, he stated that he was tired of people getting in his way, so he would start carving his own path. Meanwhile, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn were set to face Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day. However, JD McDonagh attacked Zayn backstage and took him out of the match.

Nakamura, seemingly out of the kindness of his heart, stepped up and offered to take Zayn's place. Despite plenty of tension between Rhodes and Rollins, the trio emerged victorious. Rollins, Rhodes, and Nakamura celebrated, and "The Visionary" even shook hands with "The American Nightmare" after a brief argument.

However, Nakamura ended the celebration early, as he attacked Rollins from behind and hit him with a Kinshasha. Nakamura then walked away while Rhodes and Zayn checked on Rollins.
