Shotzi Blackheart made a surprise appearance during the WWE Royal Rumble, entering at number 26. Shotzi lasted around eight minutes before being eliminated by Shayna Baszler.
Appearing on the Swerve City Podcast, Shotzi discussed her Royal Rumble appearance.
"It was all really sudden because I didn't find out until the night before. I was chilling at home and they're like, 'Hey, we need you to get on a plane.' 'Okay.' I was freaking out. Even when they told me to get on a plane, they didn't say I was in the Rumble. It wasn't until we were rehearsing the night before. Even then, I thought I was watching them rehearse. It was a tease because they went number by number about what's going on and they finally got to 26, which was my number, and I was like, 'Wait, I'm in it? What're you talking about?'" she recalled.
Shotzi went on to say that she was happy to share the ring with Beth Phoenix in the Rumble as Beth is someone who she grew up idolizing.
Shotzi is currently part of the NXT brand and feuding with the Robert Stone Brand.
