Is Shotzi Blackheart looking to become a member of RETRIBUTION?!
This past Monday on WWE Monday Night Raw, RETRIBUTION’s main five members were all said to have signed official WWE contracts. While the majority of the audience remains uncertain regarding how they feel about retribution and their long-term marketability on WWE Raw, the group of Renegades does have one fan. That person is NXT Superstar Shotzi Blackheart.
Shotzi Blackheart is very familiar with RETRIBUTION’s core five members. Even though their names have changed, Dio Maddin, Dominik Dijakovic, Shane Thorne, Mia Yim, and Mercedes Martinez have all spent time with Blackheart during their collective time in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and on the road for NXT.
Speaking with Pro Wrestling Sheet, Shotzi actually expressed a fondness for the group and their presentation, even saying that she wouldn't mind being a member.
“I think [their debut] was pretty badass. Dio looked like Predator. Everyone was wearing super cool masks. All of that appeals to me because I like the darker side of things and I’m for it,” she stated. “I like masks. I like all of the black. I like the crazy face paint that they’re doing. They’re wrecking stuff and just being destructive, I’m all for it. I’m like, where do I sign up?!”
WWE recently filed for trademarks on all of the RETRIBUTION members' new names, revealing that Mia’s name will be “Reckoning” while Mercedes will be known as “Retaliation” moving forward. Find out all you need to know at this link.
