In Memory of My Father, Sid Eudy

Dear friends and family,

I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon.Thank you for your support.

Sincerely, Gunnar Eudy

Sid began his wrestling career in the late 80s and was signed by the NWA/WCW in 1989 as Sid Vicious. Sid would join the Four Horsemen in 1990.

In 1991, Sid joined WWE as Sid Justice and went on to main event WrestleMania 8 against Hulk Hogan. He would return to WCW in 1993 and main event the first-ever Fall Brawl in a WarGames match. Sid came back to WWE in 1995 for his most accomplished run as a professional, winning the WWE World Title on two occasions and headlining WrestleMania 13.

After leaving WWE, he had a brief run in ECW, where he'd work a few short matches, as well as team with Spike Dudley before making his way back to WCW.

Sid had his final run in WCW from 1999 to 2001, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Title twice. He snapped his tibia and fibula at WCW Sin 2001, effectively ending his full-time career.

Sid would continue to take various independent dates, and returned to WWE in 2012 for a match against Heath Slater, before wrestling his final match in 2017.

He was the master and the ruler of the world.
