Smackdown 5/29 Viewership Average Similar To Last Week; Higher On Rankings

For the first time in weeks, Smackdown was number one on Tuesday.

The ratings for Smackdown have been on a down trend since WrestleMania and the Superstar Shakeup. According to Showbuzz Daily, this week's episode averaged just under 2.2 million viewers which is close to last week's episode and only 100,000 less than two weeks ago. But Smackdown was number one among cable original shows.

The demographics are the main determining factor in the ratings and Smackdown had 660,000 viewers in the 18 to 49 year old demographic. The last few weeks have had NBA playoff games but this week there wasn't a game on Tuesday.

Viewership numbers came out late this week which delayed Fightful's coverage. The YouTube numbers are usually reported on on the day after Smackdown airs but the following numbers had an extra day to occur. On the WWE YouTube, the following videos preformed the best. The Dance Off  with Naomi and Lana had nearly one million views with 959 thousand, Big Cass inserting himself in the match between Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan had 584 thousand views, Shinsuke Nakamura versus Tye Dillinger had 471 thousand views, and the six man tag team match with New Day, the Miz, and The Bar had 402 thousand views.
