Smackdown at the top of the rankings once again.
The average viewership last week was slightly below 2.2 million views and Smackdown was at the top of the rankings for original cable content. This week, they lost around 60 thousand viewers according to ShowBuzz Daily and the show was at the top of the rankings once again.
The number of viewers for Smackdown has been on the decline for months but the rankings were even more affected by the decline in viewers in the 18 to 49 year old demographic. As the NBA Playoffs progressed, Smackdown and Raw have lost more viewers in that demographic. This week and last week, Smackdown was not on a night of an NBA game.
On YouTube, the following videos were the highest performing but none got over one million views. The contract signing with AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura has 732 thousand views. Asuka in a handicap match had 543 thousand views and Asuka confronting Carmella had 488 thousand views. Two other videos of matches had over 400 thousand views.
