During the Guerrilla Collective event, new gameplay for WrestleQuest and a developer walkthrough of the game were presented.
Mega Cat Studios' Zack Manko takes players into the jungles of WrestleQuest, reveals the unique dungeon dynamics, and provides a sneak glimpse at a living wrestling legend. Players get a glance at new opponents like the Money Pig, who is defeated with a Pile Bomber.
There's also some cave gameplay and a small taste of how players interact with color bulbs in the caverns, which may be altered by placing color sheets on top of them. Manko revealed that you can also mix colors to make new ones and interact with the world more.
There's even a brief look at Jake "The Snake" Roberts in statue form and a tease of what fans may expect to see when they visit all of the Macho Man statues.
WrestleQuest will be available via Steam on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
