WWE loves dipping into the sports star pool to find the next superstar and Adebayo Akinfenwa is ready for his opportunity.
Adebayo Akinfenwa is a 38-year-old soccer star who currently plays for Wycombe Wanderers F.C. and once he hangs up his cleats, he could be looking at a future in WWE.
“I’ve had a couple of calls recently in regards to that. I’ll be following up on that soon – so it could go up or down depending on the outcome of that," Adebayo told TalkSPORT. “I can’t tell you a direct percentage in terms of that [coming to fruition], but it’s something I’m really passionate about, so watch this space, people."
Adebayo is rated as the strongest player in EA Sports FIFA 21 and believes he would win a soccer Royal Rumble against his fellow players.
He's furthered talks of him potentially joining WWE by taking to social media to declare for the WWE Draft and calling out Drew McIntyre.

Adebayo was not part of the official WWE Draft pool, but never say never in wrestling.
