Sonya Deville wants what's best for SmackDown.
After being named to Team SmackDown and officially being booked for her first WWE pay-per-view, Aliyah was pulled from the team by Sonya Deville, much to her dismay.
Now, 6 days after making the decision to take Aliyah off of the team, Sonya DeVille has named a former women's champion as the final representative of Team SmackDown.
Officially making the announcement on Twitter, Sonya Deville named Toni Storm as the final representative of Team SmackDown. The only official explanation being given is that Sonya wants the “best and brightest” superstars on the team.
With #SurvivorSeries fast approaching, I want to ensure each brand is represented by the best and brightest Superstars. Therefore, it’s my pleasure to announce that TONI STORM will be the fifth and final member of the #Smackdown Women’s team. Congrats and good luck on Sunday!

Far from the first replacement this week, Rey Mysterio was also taken off of Team Monday Night Raw and replaced by Austin Theory. Learn more here.
This will not even be the last replacement named as SmackDowns men's team still needs a member after Sami Zayn lost his spot on the team.
