"DNA Secrets" producer TJ Yates discussed the film with Tampa Bay Times and noted that the movie was a murder mystery that centers around the owner of an antique store.

Speaking with 10 Tampa Bay, Deville commented on acting and highlighted how it's different than performing in WWE.

"Obviously, the hustle and bustle, the hurry up and wait, the cameras, the memorization of lines, the having to constantly be ready and on, is very similar. I do have to say, I do like that in filmmaking you get more than one take. When you’re on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown, it is live, live, and that is it," Deville said.

Deville suffered a torn ACL on the July 28, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown. At the time, she was one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions with Chelsea Green. Piper Niven later replaced Deville, as she had to get surgery. Deville has been on the road to recovery ever since.

Chelsea Green previously said she was counting the months until Sonya Deville could return.

As of this writing, it is not known when Sonya Deville will return to the ring. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
