Swerve Strickland is set to clash with Ricochet on the February 5th episode of AEW Dynamite in a grudge match that has intensified in recent weeks.
Speaking to Austin of Voices In The Streets Unfiltered, Swerve Strickland was asked about dealing with a "mad man" named Ricochet.
A mad man that I created. He's got a lot of pent up aggression that I really forced a new side of him to come out. That's what I do. I poke the bear, I push buttons, but I unlock something special in a lot of these people," he said.
Swerve said that he has years of pent up aggression that he is looking to get back on Ricochet.
Swerve was asked what's next for him after he's done with Ricochet.
"Once I'm done with Ricochet, it's onto the AEW World Championship and title reign number two," he said.
Jon Moxley is the reigning AEW World Champion. Swerve's first reign ended at AEW All In against Bryan Danielson.
