Taiji Ishimori finished first in B Block of New Japan Pro-Wrestling Best of Super Juniors 31. Ishimori finished with a 7-2 record and 14 points overall. He defeated Hiromu Takahashi on the final night to secure his spot at the top of the block.

DOUKI finished second in the block with a 6-3 record and 12 points. Takahashi had the same record, but DOUKI defeated Hiromu in the round robin portion of the tournament to secure the tie breaker.

Ishimori will face TJP, who finished second in A Block, in the semifinals. DOUKI will face El Desperado, who won A Block, in the semifinals.

he semifinals will take place on June 3rd and the finals will headline NJPW Dominion.
