Taiji Ishimori wants a crossover match.
AEW, NJPW, STARDOM, CMLL, and ROH will come together for the Wrestle Dynasty event on January 5th, 2025. Fans and wrestlers alike are already buzzing about potential matches between stars from the participating promotions.
Speaking with Tokyo Sports, Taiji Ishimori expressed his interest in facing Darby Allin at Wrestle Dynasty.
"I'd like to have a singles match against Darby Allin on January 5 against AEW, of course, but I'd like to have a defense [of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship] on January 4 of course. I love him. I want to do something outlandish, I want to do it with a guy who does a lot of stuff," Ishimori said.
Ishimori is a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, among other accolades. He has wrestled for ROH; he recently competed on the February 29, 2024 episode of ROH on Honor Club.
