Tank Ledger Debuts, Tensions Rise Between Henley And James, Stratton Wins Again | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on April 11, 2023.

- WWE NIL recruit Tank Ledger was confronted by Gallus, and Mark Coffey challenged him to a match. Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, Rip Fowler, and Ava) approached the NXT Tag Team Champions and expressed their interest in a shot at the gold. Coffey then defeated Ledger, who was making his NXT in-ring debut. After the match, Gallus (Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey, and Wolfgang) brawled with The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) and the Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed).

- Fallon Henley and Kiana James argued backstage before they challenged Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Briggs Jensen showed up during the match and tried to interfere, but he wound up arguing with Henley. He then shoved Josh Briggs to the ground. Fyre and Dawn capitalized on the distraction and scored the victory.

- Tiffany Stratton gained more momentum with a hard-fought win over Sol Ruca. In a post-match interview, Stratton noted that she should be the number one contender, and she claimed that NXT Women's Champion Indi Hartwell is scared of her.

- Chase U held an MVP Award Ceremony for Duke Hudson, and Andre Chase presented him with the honor. Hudson commented and reflected on the team's win at NXT Stand & Deliver. He stated that he out Chase U on his back and carried them to victory. Hudson thanked Andre Chase and led a chant for Chase U, but Bron Breakker interrupted. He discussed his decision to turn on Carmelo Hayes, as he called the NXT Championship a curse. Breakker stated that he didn't need the approval of his fans. He then gave Hudson his spot in the four-way match before he dropped Chase with a Spear. Hudson grabbed his trophy and ran away.

- Eddy Thorpe defeated Javier Bernal. Damon Kemp watched on the stage, but his intentions were unclear.

- NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, alongside Trick Williams, opened the show. He responded to Bron Breakker's attack and said it wouldn't happen again. Hayes stated that he took the torch from Breakker. He noted that they will be fighting each other for a long time, and he offered Breakker in a four-way match for a title shot. Dragon Lee interrupted and stated that he came to NXT to face the best. He vowed to earn a title shot. JD McDonagh joined the fray and noted that Hayes was already slipping. McDonagh made it clear that he intended to prove that he was the best. Grayson Waller also interrupted and announced that he would be in the four-way match. He told Hayes that a real superstar would win the title.

- A video package highlighted Noam Dar, and he reminded everyone about the rules of a Heritage Cup match.

- A video package hyped up the feud between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

- A NXT Anonymous video showed Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo attacking and abducting Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson).

- SCRYPTS vowed to expose Axiom.

- Cora Jade discussed her return to NXT and brought up Roxanne Perez. She stated that Perez's struggles just proved that some people were better than others. Jade also stated that the NXT Women's Championship belonged to her. She continued to call out other members of the NXT women's division. Lyra Valkyria interrupted her and warned that she would rip Jade's eyes out if she went near the titke. Valkyria gained the upper hand following a brief brawl.

- Ilja Dragunov clashed with Von Wagner and defeated the big man in a competitive match. As per the stipulation, due to the loss, Mr. Stone walked out on Wagner.

- Tank Ledger made his singles debut in a singles match against Joe Coffey. The Creed Brothers came out after the match, as did The Dyad, and the three teams brawled.

- Backstage, Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo discussed "Operation Crowbar." They bumped into Roxanne Perez, who made it clear that she was ready to regain her title. Zoey Stark showed up and insulted Perez, and the former champion challenged her to a match. Pretty Deadly then attacked D'Angelo and Lorenzo.

- Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey approached NXT North American Champion Wes Lee and made it clear that they wanted a shot at the gold. Lee emphasized that he was ready to fight.

- Grayson Waller defeated Duke Hudson, JD McDonagh, amd Dragon Lee in a thrilling four-way match to earn a shot at the NXT Championship. NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes confronted him after the match.
