Taya Valkyrie Loved Working With Triple H And Shawn Michaels, Wishes She Got More Opportunity In NXT

Taya Valkyrie's run in NXT didn't last long as she debuted on the April 13, 2021 episode and was released on November 4.

Valkyrie, who wrestled under the ring name Franky Monet, was regularly featured on television before the switch to NXT 2.0 and challenged for the NXT Women's Championship.

Speaking during an East Coast Auctions signing, Valkyrie reflected on her time in NXT.

"Great," she said when asked about working with Triple H. "Triple H was awesome and super happy to have me there and super positive with me. Loved Presley [her dog], of course. It was really great to work with Triple H and Shawn Michaels."

When asked about her overall time in NXT, she said, "It was great, but I wish that I had gotten more of an opportunity to show what I could do, I'll be honest. I didn't feel like I was given the opportunity that I needed and I don't even think I scratched the surface of what you all know La Wera Loca and Taya Valkyrie bring to the table. With that said, I did gain a lot of knowledge, I learned a lot about myself and I'm super excited to bring all of that and remind all of you who I am, starting next week. You can't stop learning."

Valkyrie is set to face Thunder Rosa at Zicky Dice's Outlandish Paradise on January 15.

Elsewhere during the signing, Valkyrie discussed her future and potentially signing with AEW. You can find her comments by clicking here.
