Tenille Dashwood Says She And Becky Lynch Were Meant To Feud In WWE

Tenille Dashwood is reflecting on one of the only rivalries she wanted to have in WWE.

The WWE career of Emma is one of highs and lows. She competed against Paige in the first NXT Women's Championship match to air on the WWE Network, but was also paired with Santino before going back to NXT to work with Dana Brooke.

Ultimately, she would experience the highs of Wrestlemania and the lows of the weird Emmalina transition that only lasted for a moment.

Speaking on a virtual signing with Captain's Corner on Facebook, Tenille Dashwood said that she worked with pretty much everyone that was there while she was in WWE but she does regret never getting a proposed feud with Becky Lynch off the ground.

“I feel like I worked with everyone that was there when I was. You know what, we were supposed to have a feud, Becky Lynch and I that we never really got to finish or it barely even got started, honestly. That was unfortunate because I think it would have been pretty damn good,” said Dashwood. "I would have kicked her ass too, obviously, but it didn't happen, unfortunately.”

Now, Dashwood is one-half of the current IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions with Madison Rayne. during this virtual signing, she spoke about this being her first championship victory in a major wrestling company.

“Basically, we kicked the IInspiration’s ass,” she said. “May I say, also, this was my first championship in any major promotion in my whole wrestling career. I have been wrestling for 20 years, 10 years professionally, and this was my first championship.”

Asked who she wants to face when defending titles, she mentions past IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

“Give them [The IInspiration] their rematch. Then, who knows, actually? I'm sure Havok and Rosemary are probably going to try the butt their heads in and then, maybe someone new. Who knows?”
