Tessa Blanchard, Eddie Edwards Apologize For Not Making It To IMPACT World Title Match At Rebellion

Tessa Blanchard won't be a part of the Rebellion event and she has gone on to apologize to IMPACT fans.

When IMPACT Rebellion was originally planned to be a pay-per-view event, she was going to defend the IMPACT World title against both Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards. However, given the current state of things, the event was repackaged as a two-part television event on AXS.

With that change came another one. Both Blanchard and Edwards were unable to make it to the event. Blanchard took to Twitter to apologize to everyone for not being able to make it to the show. Blanchard is still in Mexico while Edwards made the decision to stay at home with his family. Edwards also took time to apologize to fans on Twitter on April 21.

Elgin, on the other hand, still showed up to the event and he promised to address the future of the IMPACT World Title on night two, taking place next week. For a look at what's happening on the second night of Rebellion, click here.
