United Empire is moving on in the AEW World Trios Championship tournament.
On the August 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, The United Empire (Will Ospreay & Aussie Open) defeated Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo) to move to the semi-finals of the AEW World Trios Championship tournament. The United Empire are now set to face The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) on next week's Dynamite, with the winning team moving on to the finals of the tournament at All Out.

United Empire were able to knock off Death Triangle after Kip Sabian made his AEW return during the match and attacked PAC. This instance gave UE the advantage, which led to Ospreay hitting an Oscutter on Rey Fenix for the victory.
