Another team has advanced in the tournament to crown new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
In a match featuring two makeshift teams, Alexa Bliss & Asuka defeated Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H to advance in the tournament. Bliss & Asuka join the pairings of IYO SKY/Dakota Kai and Raquel Rodriguez/Aliyah as teams that have advanced thus far in the tournament. At a later date, Asuka & Bliss will face SKY and Kai in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships have been vacant since the May 16 when then champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the company.
