Thunder Rosa Discusses Challenges Of AEW Women's Title Run, Doesn't Want To Talk About Britt Baker

Thunder Rosa has been AEW Women's Champion since AEW Dynamite St. Patrick's Day Slam on March 16 when she defeated Britt Baker.

In that time, Rosa had defended the title against the likes of Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm, Miyu Yamashita, Serena Deeb, and more.

Speaking to Bullet Cast at StocktonCon, Rosa was asked about her run as AEW Women's Champion thus far.

"It's been really challenging. Being a champion on a major platform is different than when I was NWA Women's World Champion. There is a lot more at stake and a lot more you're representing and a little bit of pressure. Every time you stand in front of the camera, you want to make sure you're perfect. The thing is, it's not all about perfection, it's about making a difference, and I hope I've been making a difference in the women's division," she said.

Rosa is once again feuding with former champion Britt Baker as the two have traded verbal shots on television and competed against each other in tag team action.

When the interview said, "I want to talk about Britt Baker," Rosa replied, "How about we don't talk about Britt Baker. I've said what I had to say about Britt. We made history, the matches were great, I already cut a nice....I had what I had to say."

The interviewer noted, "You've moved on." Rosa commented, "Yes, thank you very much."

Rosa defeated Baker's second Jamie Hayter at AEW Battle of the Belts.

Rosa was in action on Monday's AEW Dark: Elevation, teaming with Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida to defeat Emi Sakura, Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose. Fans can dind the stream and results for the show by clicking here.
