Titus O'Neil Discusses His Role As Host Of WWE WrestleMania 37

On March 19, WWE announced that Titus O'Neil would host WrestleMania 37 alongside Hulk Hogan.

Though he isn't featured much on television, O'Neil has been a staple in the Tampa community for years as a WWE ambassador and with The Bullard Family Foundation.

Speaking to DAE On Demand, Titus discussed his role as host of WrestleMania 37.

"I like to equate as being the host of the Oscars or Grammys. You're directing the ship. At the end of the day, it's a very prominent position to be in. You have to perform just like everyone else. They're expecting you to keep the crowd engaged and hyped, transition to stories that are going on throughout both nights. It's an amazing honor. Being able to be in front of a live audience is going to be a refreshing moment for every WWE superstar and fan," he said.

O'Neil hasn't wrestled since November 2020 and has been used sparingly as a wrestler since the days of Titus Worldwide in 2018.

When asked if there's an in-ring return in his future, Titus said, "I'll hopefully get back into the ring with the right storyline. It's not just about the wrestling. We aren't called wrestlers for a reason. We're called WWE superstars because there's so much more that we do. I embrace every single role and part that I have. You can be on top and the champ one minute, the next minute you could not be on TV for a few months. What are you going to do in between that, how are you going to be an asset to the company? I've proven over 12 years that I'm more than just a wrestler and I can do more. That's one of the reasons the decision was made to have me host WrestleMania with an iconic figure in WWE history; Hulk Hogan."

WrestleMania 37 is scheduled for April 10 and 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. You can view the current lineup for the event by clicking here.
