Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has been announced for the next four EVOLVE events which are EVOLVE 129, 130, 131 and 132. Ciampa will be a part of meet and greet sessions at those events as he is currently recovering from neck surgery that he underwent prior to NXT TakeOver: New York. Tommaso Ciampa's road to recovery has been spotlighted via the WWEPC YouTube channel. Ciampa said that he is not fearful for his future because he was assured by WWE that he will have a spot in the company in some fashion. The former NXT Champion underwent anterior cervical fusion surgery in March which led to the NXT Championship match between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole taking place at TakeOver: New York. Cole and Gargano are set to clash once again at NXT TakeOver XXV on June 1st in Connecticut.
