Tony D'Angelo And 'Stacks' Comment On Winning NXT Tag Titles At NXT Great American Bash

Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo comment on winning the NXT Tag Team Championship.

At NXT Great American Bash, D'Angelo and Lorenzo won their first titles in NXT when they dethroned NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey). The victory marked the culmination of a difficult journey for D'Angelo, who spent a number of weeks behind bars until "Stacks" won his freedom.

In an NXT Exclusive, D'Angelo and "Stacks" shared their thoughts on their win. D'Angelo noted that they had been through a lot, and he was proud of "Stacks" for fighting for their lives.

“This family has been so through so many ups and downs. I can’t explain it in words. I’m so proud of this guy right here. I was just in jail, and he fought for his life. He fought for my life. That’s exactly what we did out there in that ring, and we came home with the gold," D'Angelo said.

"Stacks" chimed in with a shot at Gallus by saying that, from now on, it's The Family on top.

When asked about their plans for a celebration, D’Angelo noted that they could get a fresh bowl of ziti or go to his grandmother’s house.
