Santos Escobar appears to have been put on the Shelf courtesy of The Don of WWE NXT.
At NXT In Your House, Legado del Fantasma lost to Tony D’Angelo’s family. As a result, they had to join Tony D’Angelo's family. However, despite the supposed subservience, both groups continued to get in one another's way.
This week, Tony D’Angelo appears to have nipped it all in the bud as he informed Cruz Del Toro, Elektra Lopez, and Joaquin Wilde that Santos Escobar is now in the hospital and it appears that he is the one that put him there. However, D'Angelo did not admit to actually doing the dirty work.
Tony also said that he was giving the other men of Legado one more chance to prove themselves next week. He did, however, praise Lopez's work.
