Tony Khan is excited to have Britt Baker back in AEW.
On the July 31st episode of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone noted that Britt Baker had been suspended by Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson for her actions at San Diego ComicCon. The suspension turned out to be more than a storyline beat as the Wrestling Observer first reported that Baker was suspended after an incident involving Baker, MJF, and Alicia Atout.
Baker's suspension was lifted on television when she returned, via video screen, on the August 7th episode.
Speaking to Brandon Walker of Rasslin, Tony Khan was asked about Baker's suspension.
"Britt Baker has been on the show, just this week," said Tony. "I think Britt Baker is fantastic. So great having Dr. Britt Baker DMD back in AEW. She is facing the CEO at AEW All In. It's going to be a fantastic match. Mercedes vs. Britt is one of those dream matches that I've wanted to see for a long time."
Mercedes will defend the AEW TBS Title against Baker at AEW All In.
