"The Kiwi Buzzsaw" is out.
Travis Banks recently made it to the finals of WWE's second annual United Kingdom Championship tournament where he lost to Zack Gibson. The "Kiwi Buzzsaw's" momentum was not halted by that one loss as it was announced that WWE would be establishing an entire brand based in the U.K. with new championships being introduced as well. The NXT U.K. brand had it first set of tapings yesterday in Cambridge for the NXT U.K. TV show and day-two of those tapings are currently underway in the same venue.
The former PROGRESS World Champion Travis Banks was set to be a part of this weekend's tapings but he was unable to compete due to a separated shoulder he suffered while working PROGRESS Wrestling's 'Coast To Coast' tour on Friday.
Along with being scheduled for the NXT U.K. TV tapings, Banks was also set to work the rest of PROGRESS' tour of the United States.
