Lee and Frazer felt each other out early on, and they were evenly matched as the former tag team partners had each other scouted. Lee evaded a dive from Wentz and took out his leg before he slammed Wentz into the ring post. Lee then slammed Wentz onto the apron. He continued to control the action, and he grounded Wentz.

Wentz rallied with some kicks, and he got a two-count with a Swanton. He rolled through a Meteora and locked Lee in a Boston crab, but Lee escaped. Lee responded with a takedown and a corkscrew dive for a two-count. He rocked Wentz with a Cardiac Kick for another two-count. Wentz spiked Lee with a blockbuster DDT, and Lee answered with a Meteora. Lee went to kick Wentz into the steps, but Wentz moved, sending Lee crashing into the steel.

Lee drilled Wentz with a kick and hit a diving stomp at ringside. He then got a chair and went to it Wentz, but TNA's Trey Miguel stopped him. Wentz then hit a Destroyer and a Cutter for the win.

Wentz and Miguel celebrated after the match, and Lee stared them down.

Lee had been on a Rascalz reunion with Wentz and Trey Miguel across NXT and TNA until he turned on the duo after he and Wentz unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT Tag Team Championship on the August 6th episode of NXT.
