Trick Williams On Defending NXT Title Against TNA Wrestlers: I'm Not Threatened By Anybody

Trick Williams briefly addresses the working relationship between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling.

Trick Williams is the current WWE NXT Champion, leading the brand in this new era on network television following their recent debut on the CW. One of the key exciting factors in NXT in 2024 has been their working relationship with TNA. Williams has yet to directly wrestle a member of the TNA roster, but he has teamed with Joe Hendry in the past and refereed the match between Hendry and Ethan Page for the NXT Title at NXT No Mercy.

When asked about the working relationship by Baby Huey on the In The Kliq podcast, Williams kept his words soft and sweet and simply said that all challenges were welcome.

"It's cool. You know, all opponents are welcome, you know. I mean, I'm not threatened by anybody who wants an opportunity to take a chance at this title. If it makes for a better show, if it's what the people want to see, then let's make it happen."

NXT will be invading the ECW Arena for a special Wednesday night episode on November 6. Check out the full card, which will include TNA's Jordynne Grace, here.
