While speaking to WGN News in a recent interview hyping the upcoming jump to The CW for NXT, Trick Williams was asked what led to the wrestling character we see today.

"Man, honestly, I feel like, the best thing you can be yourself. Like every single time I get on TV, every single time in that ring, I make sure I turn it up some. But man, everything you see is who I've been my whole life. So I think that's just luckily it connects with the audience. But I never tried to force the audience to do anything. I just let people who I am."

Elsewhere in the same interview, Trick discussed how NXT differs from RAW and SmackDown. You can read more about that here.

On this past week's edition of WWE NXT, Trick was in action against Pete Dunne, and came up short against The Bruiserweight. You can read more about that here.
