Triple H won't give the fans more, just to give them more.
Appearing on a media call prior to Saturday's NXT TakeOver: WarGames II, Triple H was asked about lengthening NXT events or adding more TakeOver specials.
"It's supply and demand. If the demand increases and is such that we do more of them....I'm not a big fan of just giving more to give more. Even on the lengths of the shows, I feel like we're in a sweet spot," he stated. "I like leaving people to where they're excited for everything on the show and when it gets to the end, you're looking forward to more as opposed to being burnt out because it's such a long event or you have to have break areas within the show. We'll see where it goes.Trying to keep your finger on the pulse of 'what's enough and what's too much' and manipulating that as you can."
There are five TakeOver events a year and the shows generally run two and a half hours. NXT is lauded for their longer storylines and matches, which is a knock against the main roster at the moment. Becky Lynch recently stated that it can be tough to build longer storylines on the main roster due to the abundance of shows the company is always trying to build towards.
