Speaking at the post-show press conference, Triple H commented on the bout.

"Drew McIntyre and CM Punk put on a classic and a clinic and did it in a way of what that was supposed to be. It's what Hell in a Cell is supposed to be. When you cannot take each other any further, when the point of conflict has gotten to where it has no place else to go, you put it in Hell in a Cell, and two guys finish it there. When I look at that match, that's what they did. It wasn't about jumping off something really high. It wasn't about this crazy stuff. It was just about two guys with emotional hatred for each other that surpassed everything else we could do in this business. There was only one way to solve it and that was Hell in a Cell. They delivered a classic. An all-time classic," said Triple H.
