Triple H On Goldberg Possibly Wrestling Again: We'll See, Never Say Never

Triple H comments on the possibility of Bill Goldberg wrestling another match in WWE following his confrontation with Gunther at WWE Bad Blood.

Shortly after Triple H announced the WWE Crown Jewel Championship matches for the upcoming event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther arrived on the scene in Atlanta. He would confront Goldberg, sitting in the crowd with his family, calling him a one-trick pony and goading him into a fight. Goldberg tried to answer the challenge, but security quickly stopped him from getting in the ring to confront Gunther, and Sami Zayn rushed the ring to attack his opponent on the October 7 episode of Monday Night Raw.

During the WWE Bad Blood Press Conference, Raj Prashad of Uproxx Sports asked Triple H about the possibility of Goldberg wrestling another match in WWE. Triple H would say that conversations like that are harder to have as everyone gets older. However, never say never in WWE.

"Atlanta loves Bill Goldberg and that’s why he was here tonight with his wife and his son. Always going to get a huge reaction enjoying the show. Things get said. I can tell you when Bill came back, he was not too happy with Gunther. We’ll see. The further you go, time catches up with all of us, right? The further you go, those talks get further and further away from reality. I saw Bill earlier in the day and it was great. I saw Bill later in the day and there was a different look on his face with a spark in his eye. I would say never say never," said Triple H.

Goldberg had previously stated he was denied one final match in WWE under the Vince McMahon regime. Read those comments here.
