Matt Hardy Weighs In On Ricky Starks' Contract Situation With AEW

"It depends on the moment and what's going on. One of us, either Vince, myself, or Stephanie will reach out to him. He says it a lot, WWE is his home and it's where he grew and it will be apart of him. He's always up for doing stuff with us, it really depends on his schedule. The call is made, one of us will get in touch with him and put it out there to him. And then it's a conversation from there. 'What are you thinking? What are you gonna have me do? Here's what I was thinking.' And then it's a time commitment for him. He's so busy. He never stops moving. Luckily for everybody in the WWE Universe, this Friday is an opportunity where he can make it. Which he should because the whole SmackDown thing is the phrase that he got rolling and put into the dictionary. It'll be a nice coming home for everybody."

The Rock will be making his first appearance on WWE television since WrestleMania 32. As reported by Fightful Select, The Rock's announcement led to an increase in SmackDown ticket prices.

Fightful will have live coverage of SmackDown beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 4.
