Triple H Wants To Work Out A Deal With Raw For Shayna Baszler, Says She's Still NXT To Him

Shayna Baszler attacked Becky Lynch on the February 10th, 2020 episode of Monday Night Raw leading many people to believe that she would now be a member of that brand’s roster. Triple H, however, says she is still a full-time member of NXT until a deal is made for her to go elsewhere.

Speaking on the media call previewing NXT TakeOver: Portland, NXT mastermind, Triple H spoke about the angle that played out on the February 10th episode of Raw and says he wishes the best for both Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch, but he sees the WWE brands in more of a sporting light and will not let Shayna go and handle her business on Monday nights until a deal, or even possibly a trade, is made with one of the other brands in WWE.

Jimmy Uso: If Sami Zayn Shows Up To Friday's WWE SmackDown, It's Going To Get Real Heated

“Look, I think that'll play out. There's a fascinating thing for me with that. There was a ton of buzz, I think, going into the Survivor Series and building up people for Becky Lynch and, her rise to where she is has been insane,” said Hunter. “I'm so happy for her. But, you know, you have to have that that that base of opponents and all those things. So hopefully that turns into something massive for both of them and we see where that goes. At this point, I'm not 100 percent sure. As far as right now goes, I sort of look at this like sports teams in a way and you've got to make deals to get people to go different places, as far as I'm concerned right now, Shayna Baszler's still an NXT talent until we make a deal for her to go someplace else. So does that mean there's a moment where Becky Lynch comes hunting for Shayna Baszler or vice versa? I don't know yet. We'll see.”

Becky Lynch has been bandaged up following the bite on Raw and isn't shy about saying that she is looking for retribution against “The Queen of Spades.” For now, Becky will have to wait for negotiations to play out in her favor.

Negotiations between Raw and SmackDown and NXT for talent trades were further discussed in the full media call which you can view at this link.
