WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus returned to a hero's welcome on Raw, interrupting Elias in the middle of his performance.
As reported by Fightful.com, Elias' performance would be interrupted once again. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp noted that WWE were being very secretive about who was set to interrupt Elias ahead of the show.
Stratus not only defended her hometown, she slapped the taste out of Elias' mouth following a joke about her age.
The former Women's Champion made sure to mention her upcoming Evolution bout with Alexa Bliss as well. Bliss was quick to retort, calling Stratus "Ms. Irrelevant." Moments later, Mickie James made her return to flank Bliss.
Stratus retired from full-time competition in 2006, defeating Lita in Toronto with the sharpshooter to capture her seventh championship. She returned to the ring this year at the Women's Royal Rumble.
