Tyler Rust has been cut by WWE.
Fightful reports that Rust was released by WWE on August 6.
Rust was signed by the company in December 2020, joining the Performance Center as a new recruit. He made appearances for the company throughout the years, dating all the way back to 2008, as an enhancement talent.
Rust was part of the Diamond Mine group alongside Roderick Strong, Malcolm Bivens, and Hideki Suzuki. The group debuted on June 22 after months of vignettes. Rust had been aligned with Bivens on television months prior, but the group was off TV while vignettes for Diamond Mine aired.
Rust last wrestled on the July 20 episode of NXT, teaming with Strong in a loss to Bobby Fish & Kushida.
Bobby Fish was also released by the company on August 6.
Rust has yet to comment on his release.
