Fans of wrestling video games and deathmatch style wrestling will be please to know that Gackdaw is developing an ultra violent wrestling game for you to enjoy.
It is unknown when Ultra Violence Wrestling will be released, but Gackdaw sat down with Dre41gaming for an interview, offering up more details on the project.
Gackdaw noted that he wants a small roster to start, noting he'd like to keep it 8 to 16 rosters and would like to use wrestlers from different eras. The gamestyle will be based on American deathmatches and not so much Japanese deathmatches.
The initial release will be one vs. one matches, though Gackdaw hopes to add tag team matches in the future. "When you add a third person into the mix, gameplay gets complicated to manage. If I start trying to do that, I'll probably never finish," he said.
The game will rely heavily on creation mode with Create-A-Wrestler and Create-A-Ring set to be included. Create-A-Ring will allow fans to change the sides of the ropes with Gackdaw noting that one side could be barbedwire, another side could have no ropes, and another side could have a string of lighttubes. Gackdaw would also like to implement the ability to tear up the ring mat, exposing the boards and going even further than that by removing the boards to expose things like barbedwire netting.
Gackdaw doesn't want to do crowdfunding for the project and he doesn't currently have a publisher.
