The McMahon family promised that they were taking the power back last night on Raw and they weren't lying.
Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live began with Shane McMahon officially removing Paige from her position as General Manager. Paige was given a standing ovation by the SmackDown locker room and Shane announced that she would be sticking around, just in a different role. It's unknown what that role will be at this time.

Paige was named SmackDown Live General Manager on April 10, 2018, one night after announcing her retirement as an in-ring competitor. She's received rave reviews from the WWE Universe for the job she has done this year.
In the following segment, Vince McMahon returned to the SmackDown Live to quell an argument between SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch.

McMahon announced that Becky and Charlotte would have to wait for their championship opportunity as Naomi would be stepping up to face Asuka for the title, tonight. Last night is was announced that automatic rematches would no longer be in use and that title shots would have to be earned.
