Former WWE Writer: Vince McMahon Said 'F*ck Em' In Regards To Fans Backlash Over Angle/Corbin Match

Vince McMahon didn't care about the fan response to the match between Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.

On March 16, former WWE writer Dave Schilling sent out a tweet that noted that McMahon said 'Fuck Em' when learning that fans didn't want the match between Angle and Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Many fans at the time wanted Angle to have a WrestleMania match against John Cena, who would go on to not compete at the event at all.

Corbin would go on to defeat Angle at WrestleMania 35 in a match that only lasted six minutes. It is among one of the worst received WWE matches in recent memory on Cagematch.

McMahon retired as WWE CEO in July 2022 amid sexual harassment and hush money allegations. He returned as the chairman of the board in January to help lead the upcoming round of media rights negotiations and potential sale of the promotion.

In December 2022, Angle noted that while he doesn't think he'll make a return to the ring, he could possibly do a tag team match down the road. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
