Vince McMahon Wouldn't Allow Kevin Nash To Accept Role In Striptease Movie

According to Kevin Nash, he was up for a role in "Striptease", but Vince McMahon shut it down.

Nash is a legend in the wrestling world. He won the world title during his initial run in WWE before he jumped ship to WCW and formed the New World Order, one of the most iconic stables of all time, with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall. Nash has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame two times, and he is also a star outside of the wrestling world. He has appeared in a number of films over the years, but apparently one opportunity was taken away from him.

Speaking on Kliq This, Nash recalled how he read for "Striptease", but Vince McMahon wouldn't let him take the role because it would have impacted his WWE schedule too much. Nash also praised the man who got the Ving Rhames.

"I read for the movie Striptease, and I nailed it. I found out later on that they were very interested in using me, and Vince said, ‘No way. You’re not taking him for that long.’ So Vin Grimes (?) got the part. He killed it," Nash said.

Among other roles, Nash has appeared in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze", "The Punisher", "The Longest Yard", "Magic Mike", and "John Wick" over the years.
