Adam Cole will meet Walter at Evolve 107.
Last week, WWE announced the company will be sending Adam Cole to Evolve 107 to defend his NXT North American Championship. At the time, the opponent was unknown but on Monday Evolve announced Walter will be his challenger.
The announcement came in the following Tweet.
Walter is the current PWG World Champion which is a title Adam Cole held before he went to NXT. Walter was also rumored to be signing with WWE earlier this year which he denied but he did perform at WrestleMania 34 Axxess where he wrestled Kassius Ohno. In 2011, Cole and Walter were on the same team in a eight man tag team match at a co-promoted event between CZW, German promotion WXW, and Big Japan Pro Wrestling.
