Ospreay is out of action.
Will Ospreay is currently 1-1 in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax 29 tournament. Ospreay scored his first win in the tournament on July 14th against SANADA but unfortunately for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, he will not be able to take that momentum with him into night four of the G1 as NJPW announced via their official Twitter page that Ospreay is out of action with a neck injury. It is noted within the write-up about the injury that Ospreay will miss their July 15th show. Ospreay does not have any abnormalities in his bones or nerves. He was taken to a hospital to be evaluated and it will be determined on July 18th if he'll be able to continue on in the G1.
