Willow Nightingale Talks Facing Julia Hart At AEW Dynasty, 'I Feel A Lot More Confident This Time'

Willow Nightingale is confident heading into AEW Dynasty.

At the pay-per-view, which will take place on Sunday, April 21, Nightingale will challenge Julia Hart for the TBS Championship. This will be a huge match for the 'Babe With The Power', as it will be her first time wrestling on an AEW pay-per-view since June 2023, when she challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at Forbidden Door.

While speaking to Indy Sports Daily for a new interview, Nightingale talked about earning a shot at the TBS Championship in a match that featured one of her close friends, Kris Statlander.

“Yeah. Before, you were kind of touching up on the friendship aspect of it whether that Skye who would have won and faced Julia and the position that Stat and I were put in. At the end of the day, it’s wrestling first. It’s competition before anything else and all of us understand that. All of us want to be at the top of our game, we’re gonna do what we have to do, we understand what we signed up for.

Nightingale went on to talk about her mindset headed into Dynasty, noting that she's confident, despite the fact that she's 0-2 against Hart in singles matches.

“Julia Hart is someone I’ve wrestled in two singles matches I believe so far and unfortunately have not picked up a win yet. That is kind of lingering in the back of my head as I walk into Sunday. It’s like, even though I’ve grown as a performer and wrestler and I’ve really been able to tap into that aggressive and violent nature that resides in me, there’s that little doubt of, she’s had my number. I just feel a lot more confident this time, I’ve got my friends at my side. I’ve tapped into who that is, so I’m going to tune into the best Willow Nightingale we’ve ever seen, fingers crossed.”
