Willow Nightingale says it's never what it looks like at first glance.
In July, the wrestling world started buzzing about the meeting between Tony Khan and Shane McMahon, which was first reported by Fightful Select and WrestleTalk. A photo of the two in a meeting then made the rounds on social media. Khan later confirmed that he spoke with McMahon, and he said that Shane was smart about wrestling.
Speaking with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Willow Nightingale was asked whether she was shocked when the picture of McMahon and Khan was going around.
“Honestly no because I know that there’s a lot of things that make their way onto the internet, and it’s never as it seems. There are stories that I’ve seen about my own locker room that I’ve been present for, and the discourse online is just so out of hand and so ridiculous, so for me to see something like that, I didn’t even want to give it any thought or speculation because I’m like, it’s never what it looks like at first glance. That’s generally the way that I look at most things online and anything that you see from the wrestling media," Nightingale said.
